FVHS Baron Booster Club – PING PONG BALL DROP RULES

All Proceeds Benefit Fountain Valley High School Baron Baseball Program

The FVHS Baron Booster Club Ball Drop will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Fountain Valley High School Varsity Baseball Field, weather and circumstances permitting. Participants may enter more than once.   All purchased ping pong balls will be individually numbered based on number of ping pong balls sold. Each purchaser will be assigned a number(s). Purchasers must be 21 years old or older at the time of purchase. All ping pong ball purchases are final and non-refundable. By entering the Ping Pong Ball Drop, the purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by, The Ping Pong Ball Drop Rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of ping pong balls sold, as well as where they land when dropped.

In one, over the top-moment, thousands of individually numbered ping pong balls will rain down, quickly filling the hoops. The three participants whose numbered golf balls go into the designated winning hoop or fall closest to the designated winning hoop will win this prize:

Grand Prize

Up to $2,500 CASH.  The Grand Prize will be split equally if more than one ping pong ball falls into the designated winning hoop.

Amount may vary depending on number of ping pong balls sold.

WINNER NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN

If multiple balls go in the designated winning hoop, the first three balls closer to the marker located within the hoop will be determined the winner. If no ball goes in the hoop, then the ball landing closest to the hoop will be the winner.  The ball closest to the hoop will be determined by measuring in a straight line from the center of the hoop to the ball. Decisions by pre-selected Ping Pong Ball Drop Judges will be final and binding. The winners will be announced at the Opening Day Ceremony on January 26, 2020. Winners not present will be notified by phone, mail or email based on the contact information supplied. If a winner cannot be located or fails to claim prize within ten (10) days after notification, the prize will be forfeited and funds will be donated to the FVHS Baron Baseball Booster club benefiting the Baron Baseball program.  Decisions of the contest judges are final.

Fountain Valley Firefighters remain "in-service" and available for emergency responses, even during scheduled community events. In the event firefighters are called away during their visit or are not available to participate in the event.  The Ping Pong ball drop will be postponed to a later date.
